8 oz superwash merino -> 466 yards 2 ply
The results of this
8 oz superwash merino
This is the result of my latest dyeing experiment. I’m spinning it now. At first, I was a tad unsure about the colors, but now they’re really growing on me!
The results of another dye experiment! I adore this yarn. These pictures do no to it justice.
102 yards, 100% wool. I call it “orange sherbet”
I used some leftover neppy bits along with some alpaca to spin a little, textured sample. I like!
Dyeing: College Style.
Colors used: violet and royal blue wilton gel frosting dyes.
Notes: red dye does not react well with vinegar.
This is a blend of wool and something (something acrylic and shiny). It’s rather thick in some places (It was one of my very first spinning projects and I wasn’t great at keeping a consistent weight) and I don’t have a lot of it, so I’m not quite sure what I’m going to make with it.
