Niddy noddies are magical.  I bought this one from needleclicksEtc on etsy. I really like it because it’s adjustable and really easy to use.

I used some leftover neppy bits along with some alpaca to spin a little, textured sample.  I like!

I just have to say, niddy noddies are the best inventions ever. If someone had told me how easier and convenient they were earlier, I wouldn’t have waited this long to buy one!

This is a hand-dyed BFL-silk blend that I spun a few weeks ago.

This is a 85% alpaca, 10% merino, 5% silk blend that I finished a few months ago.  I bought the roving at a textile fair in the town where I’m going to school.  The fair was so much fun.  There were sheep being sheared and booths selling and displaying lace, knitting, hand spun yarn (I spent a while staring hungrily at the spinning wheels) and fibers!
